You asked for it: the Patreon is now activated!

The results of the recent poll have pretty much blown me away. I’ve never felt so much appreciation from the fans and community, and it has supercharged me to work way harder already. Knowing that so many of you are anticipating the book’s release is awesome enough, but even more crazy is the initial interest expressed in setting up a Patreon page! Some of you even insisted on doing this, so I’ve done it. I promise that if this thing starts to get supported by even a few people, I’m going to be a lot more active on this site. Your readership has always kept me feeling indebted already, and although I haven’t been updating the site nearly as much as I would have liked, it was because I was writing a big ass book that beats anything I’ve published before.

In the important transition phase between writing, publishing, and working on Part Two of the book, I can’t think of a more encouraging thing than fans becoming patrons. Your feedback and help here is invaluable. I’ve never done something like this before. Here’s to a New Year with all the potential we could ask for…

You’ll get more details and updates there. It will serve as a more direct line of communication to supporters, while this site will remain the place where I publish finished stuff for your enjoyment.

With the utmost respect to David Hayter, I love this.  I’ve always been a fan of Kiefer Sutherland from back in Young Guns, and there are a few things I expect to see different thanks to the new voice for Snake:

New look, same great blog

For as much as I liked the unique style of the previous blog format, I just couldn’t live with it. The fact that “Continue Reading” messed up your position in the post, the disorganized way that content was distributed on the main page — I finally decided to just go for a classic approach.

I’ll be tweaking this theme here and there in the coming days and weeks, bear with me.
